ABOUT.
CICADA. is the artistic project of two brothers, Nathan (21) and Elliott (24) who collaborate as producers and DJs.
Born in Paris, they grew up in Provence, South of France, where lavender fields and azure coastlines extend as far as the eye can see. The energy of the region left an indelible mark on their souls, infusing their sound with the radiance of Mediterranean sunshine.
The brothers' musical identity blossomed on family road trips, worshiping the sonic craft of Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams, Michael Jackson, and Justice. Their taste later evolved through their immersion in London’s diverse music scene, as they discovered Alternative Hip-Hop artists like Tyler, the Creator, Kaytranada, Kanye West, and Childish Gambino.
Releasing their debut single “Shades”, along with two remixes on SoundCloud, CICADA. began shaping a signature sound that reflects all their influences. As they unveiled their upcoming release “You” during a DJ set on a Corsican beach, the duo is set to bring a fresh perspective on the dance music scene.
